Bug report— by SceneRecap AI

highCombobox selection / index mapping logic during mouse click events on filtered option lists
version: v0.13.13component: Combobox

Repro steps

  1. 1.Navigate to the Combobox example page.
  2. 2.Click the Combobox text input to focus it.
  3. 3.Type 'pple' to filter the list options (displaying 'Apple' and 'Pineapple').
  4. 4.Click on the second filtered option 'Pineapple'.

Expected

Clicking 'Pineapple' should select 'Pineapple' and populate the input field with 'Pineapple'.

Actual

Clicking 'Pineapple' populates the input field with 'Banana' (the first un-filtered item).

Evidence

visualAt 7.0s, filtering 'pple' renders 'Apple' and 'Pineapple'. At 9.0s, after clicking 'Pineapple', the combobox input displays 'Banana'.
visualControl test: Navigating via keyboard arrow keys and selecting 'Blueberry' with Enter correctly selects 'Blueberry' at 17.0s.
