Repro steps
- 1.Navigate to the FullCalendar Demos page on the Week view demo
- 2.Select 'Classic' theme from the left sidebar navigation under THEME
- 3.Observe column header formatting when the calendar container is constrained to narrow width (380px)
Expected
Week view column headers should include the day of the month (e.g. 'S 4', 'M 5', etc.) even at narrow viewport or container widths, matching the behavior of the Monarch theme.
Actual
Classic theme column headers drop the date numbers completely at narrow widths, rendering only single-letter day abbreviations ('S', 'M', 'T', 'W', 'T', 'F', 'S').
Evidence
visualAt frame 5.0s, the Monarch theme displays full day and date numbers ('SUN 4', 'MON 5', etc.).
visualAt frame 9.0s and 11.0s, the Classic theme displays only single-letter headers ('S', 'M', 'T', 'W', 'T', 'F', 'S') without date numbers, accompanied by alert banner '✕ Classic (narrow) — date numbers gone: S | M | T | W | T | F | S'.
consoleConsole warning logged: 'BUG: Classic theme at 380px — headers: [] (expected: "Sun 4", "Mon 5"… — got single letters only)'.
visualControl case at frame 19.0s: Switching back to Monarch theme at the same narrow width successfully preserves date numbers ('S 4', 'M 5', 'T 6', 'W 7', 'T 8', 'F 9', 'S 10').

### Summary When viewing FullCalendar in the Week view under the Classic theme at narrow widths (e.g., 380px container width), the column headers completely drop day numbers and only display single-letter day initials (`S`, `M`, `T`, `W`, `T`, `F`, `S`). ### Steps to Reproduce 1. Open FullCalendar Demos week view (`/demos`). 2. Select the **Classic** theme under the sidebar navigation. 3. Reduce calendar container width to narrow width (380px). ### Expected Behavior Column headers should retain the numeric day of the month alongside day letters (e.g. `S 4`, `M 5`, etc.), as seen in the Monarch theme. ### Actual Behavior Classic theme headers drop date numbers entirely and display only `S`, `M`, `T`, `W`, `T`, `F`, `S`. ### Evidence - **Console Log (9.88s):** `BUG: Classic theme at 380px — headers: [] (expected: "Sun 4", "Mon 5"… — got single letters only)` - **Visual (9.0s - 13.0s):** Noticeable banner `✕ Classic (narrow) — date numbers gone: S | M | T | W | T | F | S` and headers missing numbers. - **Control (19.0s):** Monarch theme at the identical narrow width displays `S 4 | M 5 | T 6 | W 7 | T 8 | F 9 | S 10`. *Recorded with SceneRecap.*
