lowToast / Animation
browser: Chromium-basedframework: Nuxt UI v4.11.3
Repro steps
- 1.Navigate to the Nuxt UI Toast component documentation page.
- 2.Scroll down to the 'Deduplicated toasts' section.
- 3.Click the 'Show toast' button to trigger a toast notification.
- 4.Immediately click 'Show toast' a second time while the toast is still actively executing its slide-in entrance animation.
Expected
The toast deduplication pulse effect should either wait until the entrance slide-in animation finishes or transition cleanly without conflicting with the ongoing entrance animation.
Actual
The pulse animation triggers prematurely while the toast is mid-slide-in, creating an overlapping visual animation glitch.
Evidence
visualOverlay banner highlights 'Bug: 2nd click fires pulse during slide-in' as 'Show toast' is triggered a second time before slide-in settles.
visualControl test shows that waiting until the slide-in animation finishes before clicking 'Show toast' produces a clean pulse effect on the toast element.

### Summary When invoking `toast.add` with an existing toast ID during the initial slide-in entrance transition, the deduplication pulse effect fires concurrently with the entrance animation, leading to conflicting animation states. ### Steps to Reproduce 1. Open Nuxt UI documentation and navigate to `Toast` component (1.0s). 2. Scroll to the `Deduplicated toasts` demo section (7.0s). 3. Click `Show toast` to start rendering the toast notification (8.0s). 4. Click `Show toast` again immediately while the toast is still sliding in (9.0s). ### Expected Result The deduplication pulse animation should not clash with or interrupt the ongoing slide-in entrance animation; it should either queue until the entrance completes or blend cleanly. ### Actual Result The pulse animation triggers mid-entrance animation, causing visual stuttering. ### Control Observation Waiting until the entrance slide-in completes before clicking a second time results in a smooth, clean pulse animation on the existing toast notification (13.0s). *Recorded with SceneRecap.*
