os: macOSlocale: en-USbrowser: Chromium 151.0.7922.34timezone: Europe/Berlinviewport: 1280x720
Repro steps
- 1.Navigate to the UI5 Web Components Playground at /webcomponents/play
- 2.Render a <ui5-rating-indicator> component with attributes Size="S", value="2.5", and readonly
- 3.Inspect the rendered stars in the preview pane
Expected
All star icons within the rating indicator should have uniform height and vertical alignment regardless of partial or fractional values.
Actual
The selected/filled stars at value="2.5" render visibly taller than the adjacent unselected grey stars, causing an uneven baseline and broken alignment.
Evidence
visualThe top rating indicator (<ui5-rating-indicator Size="S" value="2.5" readonly>) renders the orange selected stars visibly taller than the unselected grey stars
visualControl case: The disabled rating indicator with integer value (<ui5-rating-indicator size="L" value="3" disabled>) maintains uniform star heights across all 5 stars

### Description When `<ui5-rating-indicator>` is configured with a fractional value such as `value="2.5"`, the filled (selected) star glyphs render taller than the unselected star glyphs, creating visual distortion and uneven vertical alignment. ### Steps to Reproduce 1. Open the UI5 Web Components Playground (`/webcomponents/play`). 2. Add `<ui5-rating-indicator Size="S" value="2.5" readonly></ui5-rating-indicator>` to `index.html`. 3. Observe the rendered preview. ### Expected Behavior All stars within the indicator should render with matching dimensions and alignment regardless of fractional fill. ### Actual Behavior The filled stars appear larger/taller than the unselected grey stars. *Recorded with SceneRecap.*
