When the tool changes, record the procedure again and export the new version. On Pro and above, a Take can re-perform the recorded flow against a site you control and record the clean version. You approve it before it replaces anything.

Is an SOP different from a step-by-step guide here?
The same Tutorial mode writes both. An SOP is the guide you keep, review and update: prerequisites, numbered steps with screenshots, the end state, and a timestamp on each step back to the recording.
Which plan includes Tutorial mode?
Tutorial mode is on every plan, Free included. Recording length is set by plan: up to 1 min per recording on Free and 1 hour on Pro.
Which export formats can I use?
Markdown and GIF highlight on Free; HTML, PDF, DOCX and a Notion page from Pro.
Do I have to narrate?
No. The steps come from the screen and the click log. If you talk while recording, the transcript is used as extra context.
Does it record what I type?
No. Typed text is never logged. Key combinations like Ctrl+S are, and password or payment fields only leave a marker that one was used. You review the clip before anything uploads.
What about procedures outside the browser?
The extension records Chrome tabs. For a desktop app, record with any screen recorder and upload the file (MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, GIF or WebP). The steps then come from the video alone, since there's no click log.
Does the timestamp trail make an SOP audit-proof?
It shows how the procedure was done in that recording, and lets a reviewer check any step against the video. It isn't a compliance certification, and it doesn't replace your own review and sign-off.
